This is an image of the overall structure of my second section [please see highlighted square in image below for sketch]. the structure has an overreaching arch which raises from the floor plane in the underground studio to the highest plane of the top studio.
This image shows across the gallery floor. in the image, the stairs heading upwards are seen towards the rear, [over the back of the entrance tunnel]. The foreground shows the opening where the stairs towards the lower studio are located.
Looking up towards the top studio. it is a bare structure that would allow stelarc to climb into position and suspend himself into open and unrestricted space.

This image shows how the stair treads correlate with the gallery floor. i wanted to keep this as close as possible to enhance the feeling of entrapment in the studio.
